Native to New Zealand, the Braeburn originated in the early 1950s and is now grown in the United States. Its skin varies from orange to red with hints of yellow, and is generally firm to the touch. The Braeburn is known to have a burst of flavor – perfect for enjoying on its own or dipping in this month’s Apple Pesto recipe.
